So, here we have a second drawing of model Cameron Bailey.  This guy has never taken a bad picture.  I think this attempt looks a little more like him than my LAST ATTEMPT but still, uh, not so much.  I do like how it turned out drawing-wise.

Simon Nessman - Esque

Here we have a drawing of someone who resembles Simon Nessman's 3rd cousin twice removed, from a distance, if you are squinting.  I never get tired of that line.

When I first saw photos of Simon, of course I was immediately reminded of an angel and seeing as how I like the religious stuff, he became my favorite model.  I used to do a blog called The Nessman Chronicles, but he got popular REALLY QUICKLY in the fashion world and it was impossible to keep up with him.

I always start out drawing with no idea where I want the drawing to go.  All that I was thinking was "Hmmm, I want to draw an angel."  Now I have no clue how I want his body to be positioned.  I think this is mostly because I actually just really like drawing faces and the bodies are just kind of necessary to complete the drawing.

I sat down last night to start my paper on Frida Kahlo, but got stuck trying to think of an opening line.  Sitting there with pencil and paper in hand, my natural instinct was to draw.  So I drew this and will work on my paper today.  I thought of a killer opening line as I was on the edge of sleep/awareness this morning.

I like the brows..Meh...whateve's...I still have to do a drawing of Colby Keller, the hottest ever...also I have a desire to draw Cliff Jensen...such a hot persona...I think my desire for Cliff may be more than just the artistic desire...I am talking too much as it were...I never bother with the proper, what do you call it...syntacs?...proper sentence structure?...wanting to give Colby a good **cough** **censored**?  Daylight savings time...
