Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ

Mary holds Jesus after he's lowered from the cross.

The cropped version works much better than the full because it disguises their oversize heads.

Baptismal Jesus

"IT IS I WHO GAVE BAPTISM TO JESUS OF NAZARETH," spoketh John the Baptist.  "I just didn't expect to get that reaction, is all..."

Baptismal Jesus, In Progress

I thought that so far the drawing was coming out pretty good, so I better commemorate it before I muck it up.  I THINK I'm doing Jesus Christ getting baptized, but being slightly turned on by the dripping water.  I can see from this photo that I need to tweak his facial expression a little.

Mind Is Elsewhere...

Thinking of better days when he was free to come and go as he pleased and hugs weren't the enemy, disgust and shame not his constant companions...

Where's My Cigarette Holder, Dahling?

A male alien came to Earth dressed in drag as a 1940's movie actress.

Hyper-exaggerated female features are hallmarks of fabulous drag queens, old time movie stars, and aliens posing as humans.

This started with drawing an eye and just seeing what it would develop into.

Meme From Thiago

Thiago, my blog friend from España, dropped the meme thing on me!  Google Translator gave me what I think is the list of 10 questions that I should answer.

1.) What animal would you be reincarnated as?  I would much rather come back in human form again, but I would probably come back as a tick just to piss me off.
2.) I could not live without: Mashed potatoes?
3.)What do you most appreciate about a person?  A passion for fairness.
4.) Favorite color (I'm not sure this one translated right)? Black and red.
5.) Three words that define you: creative, introverted, binge-prone
6.) Where would you like to travel?  France
7.) Favorite quote: "I wasn't drunk I was just overserved" -- Glenn Campbell
8.) Something I want to do (translation iffy): learn the secret to consistent happiness
9.) I want to be: content?
10.) My greatest "monosidad":  Monosidad wouldn't translate!

Aurel Schmidt - Esque

Every time I'm reading Paper, I get intrigued by the creative New Yorkers...

Here we have an interpretation of artist Aurel Schmidt, whose piece "I'm Sorry" I was very taken with.
